Getting Started:

Step 1 - Get organized:
You will need to have a binder to put all your scholarship and bursary information in, along with application forms and work in process. Try using dividers as an extra organization strategy. 

Step 2 - Check it out:
If you are interested in knowing about a specific school, what scholarships they have available, their requirements for admission and scholarship applications, google the school or use some of the information found throughout this website. Make sure to make note of required information and keep it in your binder for further reference.

Step 3 - Know your dates:
Get a calendar and make note of application deadlines both for scholarships and entry to post-secondary institutions of your choice.

Step 4 - Be proactive:
Talk with your parents and teachers about your options.

Step 5 – Be resourceful:
Ask your parents and grandparents to check with their bank, credit union, workplace, union office, church, Legion, Elks, Rotary and other affiliations within the community to see if there are scholarships or bursaries available to the children of employees, members and clients.
